Indicators to Measure our Work

An extensive set of indicators has been developed for all of FIMI's activities in the next five years. The principal indicators that will be used to gauge the overall achievement of our objectives are the following:

  • The number and degree of implementation of international human rights instruments that incorporate the individual and collective rights of Indigenous Peoples with a focus on gender, addressing the particular needs of Indigenous women.
  • The number of resolutions and recommendations adapted by the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues and the Commission on the Status of Women, and the UN Human Rights Council that address the rights of Indigenous women.
  • The number of organizations (including funders) within the global women's movement that develop operational guidelines for supporting Indigenous women.
  • The establishment of an International Indigenous Women's Fund.
